Hello world, and all who inhabit it!!!! hahaha, if you didn't notice before, i just made a spongebob quote :D
My name's Naminesfriend, and I'll be your host for the rest of this time, or at least it'll seem that way because I'm rebutting all of. . . . dang it woman, what name are you using again?
oh. Pigeonmeister this time. ok, gotcha!
Yeah, I'll be rebutting all of Pigeonmeister's statements. At least, most of them. We sometimes agree on things. Like how Yukari's a hoe. AND WHILE I DO NOT CALL KAIRI A HOE LIKE PIGEONMEISTER, I still find her just. . . mrmrmrmrmr. But I don't hate her. Just don't like her.
ANYWAY.
I've known this Pigeonmeister human since like the fourth grade, the days where we ate paste and screamed about hot dogs :3
So of course I would help her out on her blog. She and I are like. . . two sides of the same coin. While she is analytical and logical, I tend to be bubbly and illogical, filled with nonsense that actually makes sense in the end. So of course, she can never win with me. It's tons of fun :D
Haha, anyhow, today as my starting post I would like to rebutt all the stuff Pigeonmeister about the greatest game of all time forevermore: KINGDOM HEARTS
When I was 9, my mom got me this odd game that I had heard of from mysterious commercials. little did i know that this game would be my peace and love for the next 8 years. From the beauty of Square Soft's(now Square enix from merging with another game company) graphics to the entrancing music made by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu, I was captivated from Kingdom Hearts as my young eyes and ears led me through an adventure I would never forget.
The points my dear Pigeonmeister makes are trivial game control matters that are due to the age of the game. I for one got used to the camera controls rather well, and was using them to their fullest even at the final hours of the final boss battle. and plus, there's one control that my friend continuously forgets to use: It's called LOCK ON woman!
Granted, there are a few glitches in the game like fighting inside a head or the slow speech bubbles when Sora Donald and Goofy converse whilst in the gummi ship, but hey, this was a video game made in 2002. Needless to say, it's progression in technology was far more advanced than any other game of it's time, and even now it's better than some games made in 2010.
Besides, the point of Kingdom hearts wasn't just for gameplay, the use of both Disney characters and Final fantasy characters, along with purely original characters, was made to warm your heart in a way not possible by any other game.
The story was pure. The characters were innocent but learning what it meant to be tempted by darkness or fight against. Wrong and right is vague, but I learned from this game that so long as you trust in your friends, you can get through anything. It made me believe, and opened my heart that was once sketchy of other people. It was beautiful, with a good fight system, and a wonderful story with gorgeous music to go along with it. There's no real explanation but to say it's Kingdom Hearts, and even when you're 21 and just starting to play it, it makes you feel like it's always been a piece of your childhood.
:D So, let's summarize what we learned here: Kingdom Hearts is amazing, Pigeonmeister complains to much, and she used to eat paste.
Remember Sora, you are the one who shall open the door.
I correction. Most of the music was made by Yoko Shimomura, but the orchestra version of simple and clean was made by Nobuo Uematsu
