I've had a pretty weird weekend in New York. The college I've been visiting is pretty great. There's this professor whose enthusiasm for his subject really made me want to apply. I guess I just like the crazy teachers.
The town in which this college lies is... interesting. Where I live, we have starbucks inside Harris Teeter. Up here, there's a Dunkin' Donuts inside a Walmart.
My flight home leaves in like 4 and a half hours. There is absolutely nothing to do here. Thus I am posting. Maybe now would be the time to launch into a philosophical discussion...
How is it that even in these modern times, when we're surrounded by stuff, we can still be bored? In my room right now there is this computer, a television, several books, my dad, a landline phone, my iPod, and my cell phone. I could avail myself of any of these opportunities for enjoyment, but instead I am bored. And I can't even rebut Naminesfriend, since she hasn't posted yet.
Hmm.
